Racing company McLaren‘s own 650S has heralded praise for its styling, handling and ludicrous speed; its newest edition will also include a layer of applause for the company’s history. Honoring 50 years of racing heritage, the company is releasing a special 650S CAN-AM edition, named after the prestigious Canadian-American Challenge Cup where McClaren won five consecutive championships between 1967 to 1971. New additions and features include a carbon fiber retractable hard top a first for a McLaren road car a bespoke set of wheels in a gloss black finish with a diamond cut rim, a new quad-exit stainless steel exhaust, as well as carbon fiber accenting on the hood, Airbrake, front splitter, rear bumper center and more. Only 50 units will be produced of this limited edition model, each marked with a unique plaque adorning the driver side door.
