Only God Forgives | Review

Normally we here at TheLifeStyleElite.com, make a point of seeing films that we feel have a sense of style, are humorous, have great writing, with even better acting. For us we normally have a sense of the film after one or two trailers. With this new film ,“Only God Forgives“, Nicolas Refn finds himself teaming up with “Drive“ star Ryan Gosling yet again with quite the buzz surrounding the film.

The character Gosling plays ,Julian, is much like the unnamed character in “Drive”, quite, reserved, and unfortunately for “Drive” fans this is where the comparison ends. From the moment the film opens we are awed by a sinister force we can not see coupled with vivid colors that will get your interest. In the beginning of the film we are introduced to Julian ,and his brother, who we quickly find out is a little unbalanced.

Verdict: If you watch this film with an open mind understanding that this is not “DRIVE 2” you will this film.
