Lucy | Review

A film revolving around the title character Lucy, who inadvertently becomes a super-powered human being. In the first trailer Lucy works as a drug mule who gets caught up with group of drug runners who kidnap her and implant a stash of drugs within her abdomen. When the drugs start to leak inside her, it triggers a reaction, causing her to slowly learn how to use the full capacity of her brain, making her seemingly unstoppable. Following impressive fight scenes from this years blockbuster “Captain America: The Winter Solider”, film goers across the world were impressed with her on screen fighting abilities. It is no wonder why this film has garnered so much attention, and excitement as she is build as a female heroine the film industry has been sorely lacking. The films opens on a foreign exchange college student,Lucy,after a long night partying with her boyfriend for only a week, who asks her to do him a small favor,and take the briefcase inside promises she will only be dropping it off . It is at this point the imagery shown depicts that it is a trap,but despite his persuasion she is resists. Only to have the briefcase strapped to her wrist by hand cuffs,and forced to go inside as only a Mr. Jang has the key to it.

Verdict: Avoid seeing this. It will disappoint you. Maybe if it is on Tv on a Saturday evening and you have nothing to going on….. Go to the gym instead.
