There have been many films made about the life of Jimi Hendrix, and all have been without Hendrix estate’s approval. Without their approval, all have not been allowed to use his catalog, and seemingly this has lead to the demise of all of these films. Recently the latest biopic entitled “Jimi: All Is By My Side” has received praise at the Toronto Film Festival, and showcases the beginning of Hendrix’s career starting with his arrival in London in 1966 threw out the recording of Are You Experienced.
