Everyman should have his own style, and should have a ever growing music collection as well. That being said we at TheLifeStyleElite.com have for some time have offered in our “New Music Fridays” a chance to expand everyone’s musical tastes as have also done with the fashion. Our first concert we feature is the “Eagles” ,and their historic return to the legendary Forum. Much can be said about the legendary venue’s house of great band such as Led Zeppelin, Cream , The Doors, The Who,Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and even rock great Jimi Hendrix. It is only fitting that this venue’s return should be opened with a legend as the Eagles. The Eagles where the most successful band throughout the 1970’s,with numerous chart topping hits, and a roster of extremely talented musicians over the years, it stands reason that they could still put on a show.

Purchased by the Madison Square Garden Co. in 2012 for $23.5 million, and underwent an extensive remodeling to restore it to all its legendary glory. The new Forum building seen from the sky displays an the Eagles record “Hotel California”, as if it where a spinning album, and a fresh coat of paint this venue is aw-inspiring from the moment you approach it.

The Forum has an almost Roman Colosseum look to it, and with the new remodel it has a feeling of old/new promising to bring the best concerts you would want to see.

Upon entering moments before the show we saw an amazing sight a true area rock stadium. Unlike the average venue most bands play today this venue is legendary, but why is it? Is it the real area seating, or the high quality food/alchocoholic beverages sold in the forum?

No, while all these factors make a good experience for any concert, what makes the Forum so legendary is the “SOUND”. The Forum has the only true surround sound to the likes that would makes Imax, and Thx jealous. As the audience packs into the area there is an energy in the air an excitement for the legendary band; who’s fans ages range from early 20’s to late 60’s all patiently waiting for the lights to dim. The amazing sound was instantly apparent when when a great band like the Eagles take the stage, from the moment Glenn Frey opens his mouth to the moment the harmonica intro to Doolin’ Daltons the sound is crisp,and clear.

There is a reason the show is called “The History Of The Eagles”, as it is more than just a simple musical performance, it is the story beginning to present day threw the years of hits. The show starts out with the two founding members Glenn Frey, and Don Henley throwout the show they introduced more members. None will received more than Joe Walsh when he stepped on stage unannounced, he played with a fury that you would expect from the guitar player.

With an extensive song catalogue of songs we knew we where in for quite a show, with each member of Eagles adding to the prowis of the show with each song played. The Eagles are ever the performers leave the audience wanting more, as they exit the stage to a standing ovation after over four hours of playing few fans want to leave. After about 5-10 minutes of cheers, members of the audience begin to shuffle out in hope to avoid the crowds in the parking lot, they return with Hotel California. They even dust off a few Walsh tunes for the encore playing Rocky Mountain Way with a very impressive extended solo added they exited the stage again. This time we where sure they where done ,and the audience started to leave for a second time.

We where wrong the returned for a second encore with Desperado; as the final song plays we check the time ,and realize the Eagles played from 8:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. (with only a short 30 min intermission) a 4four hour shows that felt to short. We couldn’t help but enjoy this show in with the amazing sounding the Forum offers, and the timeless songs of one of Americas greats bands. So much so we even posted during the show on Instagram, and Vine accounts. We full recommend see the Eagles will they are on tour this year it is one of the best shows you can see.
