HBO release first trailer for the long awaited second season of “The New Pope.”

After nearly three years since its entry on our 2017 Year End Review, The New Pope returns with a new trailer. After a nearly three year hiatus, gone it seems to be the pope from the first season, and enter a older “New Pope”. The old guard seems to be gone as well, and the young pope is seemlying forced to climb back to the seat of the throne once again. The New Pope is scheduled to return to HBO on January 2020.
