Terminator Genisys | Review

For many of us Terminator 1&2 are iconic films of the late 80s and early 90s,and a over all fan favorite performances of Arnold Schwarzenegger. With this latest installment the studio, actors and film maker are hoping to continue a successful franchise.  After the not so well received Terminator : Salvation (which Schwarzenegger did not appear) this will be an all but reboot, and if the trailers are any indications their will be more action/plot twists than to be expected.

At first the opening of the film has very slow start almost to the point of a lack of interest on our film reviewer’s part. The over explaining of the plot that has been the same for years is a bit of a bore, but it is the scene were both T-800′s meet for the first time. The studio spared no expense on this and other scenes that are reminisced of T2, and though the plot does not get much better from this point on the film’s fight scenes are just enough to stop you from walking out the theater.

One of the films biggest plot twists was given away by not a script leak or a copy of the film being released online, but by the studio itself. The plot twist of John Conner being turned into a villain is something we feel that would have made the a greater surprise had we not been told that months before the release. This is by far one of the biggest mistakes the marketing department made ,and it cost the overall interest of the film to lack even more once he made his debut in the future.

That coupled with the overall bland acting from both Sara Conner

Final Veridic: Wait until its on television.
