For the adventurous photog who wants to take his DSLR everywhere, an L.A.-based startup called Outex has developed a reasonably priced waterproof DSLR cover. Available in blue or black, the elastic housing fits over any DSLR, along with accessories and wide-angle lenses, creating a hermetic seal good for a depth of 10 meters or 33 feet. The Optex system is modular, featuring optics that match to the camera at the viewfinder and lens port, while the wetsuit housing allows users to operate the camera through tactile feedback.
