Mercedes-Benz recently revealed that its upcoming CLS63 AMG will receive the added boost of an S-Model Trim and the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, already destined for the German carmarker’s 2014 E63 sedan and wagon models. What this means is that the original 557-hp and 531-lb-ft CLS63s will have its engine output raised to a highly respectable 585 horsepower and 590 pound-foot of torque. Other features of the S-model cars include a locking rear differential, optional carbon ceramic brakes, and other exterior design improvements. As for releases to the United States in particular, while the rear-wheel-drive CLS63 AMG will not be available, the CLS63 AMG 4Matic and CLS63 AMG S-Model 4Matic models will hit shores in Fall 2013.
