The Mafia based franchise is back,and this time they have left the tailored suits of New York for a buoys of Louisiana. The trailer is set to the back drop of  Jimi Hendrix,and The Animals-while taking in 1968. Mafia III puts players in control of new protagonist Lincoln Clay. A multiracial veteran of the Vietnam War, Clay plies his trade in the deep south of New Orleans, working for the so-called “Black Mob” in the Bayou before seeing his newly-adopted family wiped out by the Italians as he himself is shot and left for dead. Clay then sets out on a vengeful rampage, devastating the Italian Mob and creating a power vacuum for organized crime in the city — one that he himself is more than happy to fill. Given the character and setting, this ain’t exactly Goodfellas.
