Fashion house Louis Vuitton has made a timepiece that sports a traditional hour/minute hand timekeeping mechanism, the timepiece sports a 39mm stainless steel case that measures just 8.4mm thick and, though it doesn’t employ the 50-hour hand-painted dial of the Worldtime, it does see one that is transfer-made in-house as embossed insignia highlight different locales around the world. Like most time zone timepieces, this piece is simply operated by using the crown to set the hands so that the 24-hour ring rotates throughout the day to show the correct corresponding time in each of the included cities. Powered by an in-house LV 87 automatic caliber by La Fabrique du Temps and featuring a power reserve of 42 hours, the Escale Time Zone.
