The
1970 Atlanta Pop Festival was bigger than Woodstock featuring Jimi
Hendrix as the headlining act. Unfortunately there was no footage of this event,and sadly two months later Jimi Hendrix passed away. Apart from photographs,audio recordings fans of the legendary guitarist that were not around would never see him play the biggest festival of the time…..that is until now. Recently the Experience Hendrix,LLC,and Showtime’s ShoDocs have found rare footage of the event featuring none other than Jimi Hendrix himself in what was his last big performance.
