On midnight last Friday, Netflix and Marvel’s highly anticipated Jessica Jones premiered and all the teasers trailers we featured here at TheLifeStyleElite.com we were very interested to see how Jessica Jones would translate from comic book to the superhero TV genre. Netflix’ Daredevil was surprisingly better than anyone thought it could be, but can Netflix/Marvel continue the success with a female lead?

Unlike Created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Michael Gaydos, the character first appeared in Alias #1 (November 2001) After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a private detective in Hell’s Kitchen.   • Very minimal use of superpowers, and limited to pushing.
  • Kilgrave never turns purple as he is in the comic.
