James Franco’s Gucci Documentary ‘The Director’ Trailer

The face of fashion is often thought to be the models themselves, perhaps even the people who wear a given brand. Yet perhaps James Franco saw beyond this notion, evidenced by a new film, entitled The Director. Franco assumed the role of producer while helping to create a behind-the-scenes look at Gucci‘s leading woman, creative director Frida Giannini. Where some play ‘rock star’ as creative directors, living outwardly and wearing their talents on the proverbial sleeve, Giannini prefers her work do the talking. This interesting insight into the iconic brand was premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival on April 21.
