Dior “The Inspirations Behind the ‘Gran Turismo 7’ Virtual Racing Capsule by Kim Jones” Short Film

Dior men’s design director Lucy Beeden presents the inspirations behind the virtual customized De Tomaso Mangusta vintage race car and racing suit designed by Kim Jones for the Gran Turismo 7 video game. A “Christian Dior Atelier Avenue Montaigne” patch and ‘Dior Oblique’ and ‘CD Diamond’ motifs emblazon the creations, while the number “47” nods to the year 1947, the date of Christian Dior’s revolutionary first show, which sealed the success of the New Look and the House.
