tells the true David vs. Goliath story of American immigrant Dr. Bennet
Omalu, the forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of
CTE football-related brain trauma in two former professional
football players, both of whom later took their own lives because of the
degenerative disease. Starring Smith as Omalu featuring a cast that
includes Albert Brooks, Alec Baldwin, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Paul Reiser and
Luke Wilson – and shining a light on the NFL’s attempts to deny the
links between football and CTE, Concussion is due out Christmas Day.
