With a rough few years behind them, Research in Motion is hoping their next major development restores the luster back to the once mighty BlackBerry. To do this, the company is hoping to revinvent themselves with the launch of the new BlackBerry Z10, the BlackBerry 10 operating system, and a new company name, BlackBerry. The new OS brings a bigger focus on social media integration, slick multi-tasking, and multimedia while keeping the robust productivity and messaging system that put BlackBerry on the map. RIM is launching the platform with the BlackBerry Z10, a slim smartphone that features a 4.2” 1280×768, 356 ppi screen, 16GBs of storage, Dual Core 1.5GHz processor, 2GBs of RAM, microSD storage, 8 megapixel camera with F/2.2 lens, 2 megapixel front camera, and 4G LTE connectivity.
