Alfred Dunhill “Made in Walthamstow by Alfred Dunhill” Short Film

Dunhill presents a short film exploring the traditional craftsmanship employed at its Walthamstow leather workshop, in London’s East end. Staying faithful to the origins of the brand the film follows the construction of a single Brook briefcase, made entirely by hand from the finest vegetable tanned bridle leather. Charting the timely progress of Dunhill’s singularly accomplished craftsman each piece is hand cut, sewn and finished using techniques and materials used for centuries. Nothing is hurried, everything is considered.
