Passengers Trailer #2

Sony Pictures releases its second trailer for the upcoming Sci-Fi film, Passengers, and we are privy to what the film is actually about. The plot centers around the spaceship Starship Avalon, which is on its 120-year voyage to a distant colony planet known as “Homestead II” and is transporting 5,259 people. During this journey, a malfunction occurs in two of its sleep chambers, and as a result, two hibernation pods open prematurely with 90 years remaining until they reach their destination. Passengers will premiere in theaters December 21st.
