Swedish brand Koenigsegg has manufactured high-end “hypercars” since its inception in 1994. Though the popular names in luxury performance cars are coveted by the public, or even those with means to purchase such a vehicle, Koenigsegg seems to take pride in its niche, creating durable and lightweight cars utilizing predominately carbon fiber construction. Drive had the opportunity to explore the factories of Koenigsegg at the brand’s headquarters in Angelholm, Sweden. In the first part of the video series on the company, founder and principal officer Christian Von Koenigsegg explains the thought and craft that goes into designing one of their automobiles.
