Frank Lloyd Wright House for Sale

After lovingly restoring their Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home over a 20 year period, it’s with a heavy heart that Lawrence and Sharon Tarantino are putting their New Jersey house on the market. Unfortunately for them, with a regularly flooding river nearby it means there’s no other option. To make sure the beautiful house is saved however, the couple have listed it with the proviso that the new owner must move it somewhere safer. An Italian architect is already interested in moving the house to Fiesole – a hilltop town near Florence, where Frank Lloyd Wright once lived. Louis Vuitton Opens New “Winter Resort” Store in Switzerland

Following the opening of its first store in the famous Swiss ski resort in 2004, Louis Vuitton inaugurates a new winter resort store on the renowned Promenade, Gstaad. The popular winter destination seems an appropriate choice given the fact that 2012 marked the historic site’s 700th anniversary of providing ample and valuable real estate for those looking for a little bit of adventure. The store is a subtle mixture of the architectural traditions and principals of Louis Vuitton and the personality of the region – thus evoking refinement, luxury, and a poetic journey that takes visitors to the heart of the Alpine valley.

The Good House by Crone Partners

Australia-based firm Crone Partners have delivered another progression in architecture with “The Good House,” their latest project. “The Good House” is a private home collaboratively designed by the client and Crone Partners. Culturally, The Good House fits into the notion of organic growth and process, a popular demand in today’s context. It achieves this through its design, which is based on the closing and opening of rectangular wall panels throughout the house. This allows for near-infinite space combinations, and also can help accommodate the growth of the family itself. The Good House is meant to exemplify design in a limited suburban space, as well as create a comforting environment that can be lived in over time.

Unique and authentic in style, the project was a labor of love – utilizing clean, geometric lines with the original architectonic features of the former Palace of the Marquis of Caro – making the living quarters the first historical monument-hotel in Valencia. The result is a unique collection of 26 rooms, each different from the others, yet all warm, comfortable and inviting – where the architectural balance, pure lines and simple forms endow the settings with a great visual coherence. antwaune gray, cheyan gray,misterarmani.com,mister armani
