Plenty of cars even ,Lamborghini’s draw inspiration from aviation, but few take the concept as far as this. Created to celebrate Lambo’s 50th anniversary, the Lamborghini Egoista Concept takes many of its styling cues from the Apache helicopter. Named after the Italian word for “selfish”, this unique concept is centered around a single-person, carbon fiber and aluminum cockpit that’s actually removable, and is designed around the driver, with a racing seat, four-point restraints, and a heads-up display. LED clearance lights replace traditional headlights, hidden xenon headlamps provide distance lighting, and flaps on the bodywork help increase stability and airflow to the 600hp, 5.2L V10 engine. If that wasn’t enough, the body and wheels are made from anti-radar material, giving us just one more reason to believe that this beast won’t be going into production any time soon.

Ahead of its highly-anticipated debut at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, celebrated Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini has unveiled its latest work of art the Veneno. Designed in honor of Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, the Veneno is based on the Aventador LP700-4 and features a modified version of the automobile’s naturally-aspirated 6.5 liter V12 engine now boasting 740 hp and a top speed of 220 mph – alongside a complete redesign of both the interior and exterior. Seen here in a special makeup for the Geneva Motor Show, the menacing Lamborghini Veneno will only be available in the form of three production models in il Tricolore‘s green, white and red – all of which have been spoken for.

Lamborghini‘s new Gallardo Spyder have quietly been circling the web, revealing the results of the supercar’s latest aggressive facelift. The car in white is the Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder while the red is the hardcore LP 570-4 Spyder Performante (complete with a new Edizione Tecnica option), both of which now have the same trapezoidal shape, a new front bumper with updated air intakes, polished quad exhaust tips, and a set of 19-inch Apollo wheels with a black matte finish. The 570-4′s optional package gives you a wide carbon fiber wing at the back, carbon ceramic brakes, and a variety of new color options for the exterior and cabin. No changes, however, have been made to either’s powerplant, leaving their output around 550-horsepower, making this reveal totally cosmetic. Both editions of the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo will be available for order beginning in November following its official debut at the2012 L.A. Auto Show.

Initially on display earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show, European auto tuner Mansory has officially unveiled its special edition take on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Dubbed “Carbonado,” the super car features custom body paneling of carbon fiber alongside matching detailing on the interior and a 6.5-liter V12 under the hood – capable of 754 horsepower and 553 lb-ft torque. Having removed the front wings and bonnet in favor of custom designs, the automobile also features a diffuser integrated into the new rear apron and the inclusion of a rear wing while new side sills utilize built-in channels to direct additional cool air to both the rear brakes and drive unit.

If Porsche is making moves in the United States with the launch of their largest Design shop yet, then the car-loving Russians are in for a treat of their own thanks to Lamborghini. The Italian supercar brand will soon be launching its new range of luxury phones and a tablet exclusively for the Russian market flaunting completely gold bodies, large VGA resolution displays, and rear and front-facing cameras. With a covers so luxurious, you can’t have just any old casing; thankfully, each phone comes with a handmade leather or crocodile skin backing. Rounding out the collection is an Android-based  tablet, the L2800, sporting a 9.7-inch screen, a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal memory, running Android 4.0. No matter how you look at it, these Lamborghini phones are pricey for the features included, but there will always be a market for anything associated with the Italian Stallion. Media Merchants production agency specializes in projection based technologies, which probably sounds both underwhelming and vague. To display what exactly they’re capable of, creative technical director Anthony Diehl and animation director Stuart Langfield recently undertook a projection mapping project that had them taking a Lamborghini Reventon (at one million euros, the most expensive Lamborghini road car manufactured to date) to use essentially as a canvas for an animated art installation with sound. The Reventon is capable of speeds up to 220 miles per hour, and even though the car stood still during the entirety of the audio-visual projection mapping event, there were times where it appeared to approach that top speed.

Lamborghini is set to unleash the latest wild bull from its stable, the Gallardo LP550-2 Spyder. In short, this vehicle is the droptop version of the Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni. As one would expect from the supercar giant, this vehicle packs a punch with V10 engine mounted in the rear, pushing out 550 horsepower and smoking up the rear wheels. Revisions over its suspension and aerodynamics were performed in the quest for ultimate performance and there will be a six-speed manual or six-speed e-gear transmission available. As the name may suggest, the Lamborghini Gallardo Tricolore is a paint-scheme-based trimline, offered in limited numbers to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy. This is Lamborghini’s second color-based special edition Gallardo this year, announcing in January a Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore special edition featuring a variety of colors and a black roof. Unlike the Bicolore, the Gallardo Tricolore is only available in white with an offset stripe running down the driver’s side, sporting the orange, white and green of the Italian flag. The flag-themed stripe also runs through the interior of the 2011 Gallardo Tricolore, across the black leather driver’s seat.
