Early reports suggested that Tony Stark’s ladylove Pepper Potts (portrayed by Gwyneth Paltrow) would play a leading role in the upcoming Iron Man 3. But we may have underestimated how much of a presence she would have. The latest trailer for the action flick shows Potts wearing Tony’s suit as their home gets demolished. She appears to save his life when he’s about to get crushed by debris. “There were talks of Pepper getting in the suit at the end of Iron Man 2, but Marvel wasn’t ready to do it yet,” said Paltrow during Marvel’s Comic-Con panel. “I think in the comic books, she does eventually get into the suit and she has her own suit.”

Directed by Shane Black and once again starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle, the third installment in the Iron Man film franchise marks the debut of Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin – Tony Stark’s archenemy and a familiar face to longtime fans of the comics. The new Iron Man flick also marks the series debut of Col. James Rhodes’ American Flag-adorned War Machine armor – Iron Patriot. As Stark faces off against The Mandarin, the hero will continue to cope with a post-Avengers world as he wonders: Does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? The trailer shows the plot where Tony Stark is under attack,and all his Iron Man suits are destroyed. This film look to be more serous than the pervious two. time will tell if it is as good though.
