Apple recently announced that customers can start making payments with the touch of a finger on Monday, October 20 when Apple Pay becomes available in the United States. Designed to protect the user’s personal information while allowing users to make payments directly from their devices, the feature utilizes the likes of NFC antenna, Touch ID security, Secure Element privacy, and the convenience of Passbook for safe, easy payments sans credit and debit cards. Look for Apple Pay to be available for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch next year with the introduction of iOS 8.1.
